Redcliffe Whale Watching – Its A Sight Not To Be Missed!

We are extremely lucky that the Whales agree with us about how beautiful the waters of Moreton Bay truly are! On an annual basis, they choose our waters as their preferred breeding and playing grounds. Moreton Bay is known for having one of the busiest highways for the whales passing through! They stay and play for days at a time before heading further North along our coast line.

While you can still see them breaching from a distance from the shoreline (you may need some binoculars), Brisbane Whale Watching offer an amazing full day package. The package includes a boat trip out through Moreton Bay Passage, a feast for lunch (seafood’s, meats, salads) and guarantees whale sightings. This usually includes breaching and tail slapping within close proximity to their specially designed catamaran. The catamaran has many viewing decks, so you won’t miss these awe-inspiring creatures as they put on a stunning show of play for passengers. And if the Whales themselves are not enough, there are usually sightings of dolphins, turtles and dugongs, all who call Moreton Bay their home.
