The Redcliffe Youth Space have come up with a family friendly monthly concept simply called “Picnic Hill”. Picnic Hill is a fantastic event that is held the second Friday of every month. For a mere gold coin donation per adult to enter, and with all proceeds going back into the Youth Center, there isn’t better valued entertainment while helping a fantastic organisation helping our youth on the Peninsula.
Picnic Hill is a wonderful family friendly event, that has become a very popular spot with locals and visitors to our region, alike. You can book out one of their huge day beds with prime spots on top of the hill perfect for a birthday or special event, or just bring along your picnic rug and/or camp chairs and pick your favorite spot on the hill. Then it is time to settle in for an evening of music by some amazingly talented musicians and watch a guest artist create a one off art piece. Picnic Hill is fully fenced with loads of activities to keep the kids entertained; Kids craft area with all the pencils and art pieces supplied, giant games of Connect 4 and Jenga, plus a pool table and skate park next door for the bigger kids (bring your own skateboard or scooter).
