Redcliffe is a wonderful recreational paradise and was once the main coastal holiday destination enjoyed by many early settlers from Brisbane.  With its layers of history just waiting to be discovered, Redcliffe has a very interesting past.  Matthew Flinders named it "Red Cliff Point" in 1799 and it then settled in 1824.   Redcliffe Museum is a short stroll across the park from La Vida on Anzac and is a great way to capture the essence of this wonderful Peninsular and what it has to offer.

Settlement Cove is a great place to relax by the beach as you gaze out over magnificent Moreton Bay across to the white cliffs of Moreton Island.  A gorgeous contrast to the rich red cliffs of Redcliffe.  With many barbecue facilities and the huge lagoon surrounded by lush landscaping, what better way to enjoy your precious leisure time.

Whether you are into sailing, scuba diving, deep sea or beach fishing, perhaps art galleries, heritage walks, whale watching or antique shopping are more your speed, adventures such as sky diving onto the beach, kite surfing, jet skiing, maybe just enjoying  a leisurely lunch at one of the seaside cafes and restaurants.

For the lovers of fine food, Redcliffe has some wonderful restaurants and cafes just waiting to tempt you your taste buds.  Abundant, succulent seafood is available fresh from the trawlers or perhaps fish and chips at sunset, shared with the pelicans is your pleasure!
